Another day, another electro pop song. 'Bulletproof' is about as retro 80’s as you can get without even attempting to do something new. OK so the chorus melody is tasty enough but it doesn’t deliver that killer hook which made The Knife and Crystal Castles so loved.

La Roux are chirpy in that sort of instantly forgettable way and wont do much damage to the charts. They sound like a sub standard Gossip and if you’ve heard their new single this is not a good thing.
