My Toys Like Me : At Glasto & Latitude

My Toys Like Me

'Sweetheart' released 10th August

“This great new duo serve up some techno/disco madness.” – THE SUNDAY TIMES

“Like Lily Allen lost in a k-hole, battered and twisted but deeply catchy and deeply lovable. One of the most striking and idiosyncratic frontwomen to come about in dance music for some while.”  - MIXMAG

‘Sweetheart’ released 10th August is the 1st single to be taken

from the debut release ‘where we are’

Where We Are’ was recorded produced and mixed in Lazlo Legezer’s home and every sound was hand-crafted, many using an EMS Synthi – the English made modular synthesizer used to create ‘Dark side of the moon’. The album is the result of My Toys Like Me doing what comes naturally…following their instincts and getting playful. That is not to say they weren’t deeply ambitious- a great album created entirely independently was the goal and they truly feel they have scored.
